The Kean Theatre presents the perfect Valentine’s Day date with twinkling candlelight, a strolling violinist and a romantic dinner before the performance of “Broadway Phantasy.” The Valentine’s Day dinner also includes a gift bag for each couple and a special appearance by the Phantom. Following the optional dinner, stroll down the hall to the Kean for a magical musical revue featuring Lee Alverson’s powerful tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera.”
Pittsburgh native and gifted musical performer, Alverson captivates audiences with his portrayal of the Phantom and performance of Broadway standards. He often travels from his home in White Oak to Las Vegas appearing at the Venetian, Treasure Island and Paris Casinos. He has performed in more than 30,000 shows throughout 38 states and Puerto Rico.
This year marks the Kean Theatre’s 10th Anniversary. Proceeds from the Kean Theatre benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which in 2011 alone provided more than $5.2 million to poor and low-income residents at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas.
