We’re packing up TITLE TOWN & taking it on the road. Brace yourselves for the TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party Soul Travelin’ Pt. 1 Tour, which will be making it’s way through Memphis, Houston, Austin and New Orleans and finishing up back here in Pittsburgh at the Shadow Lounge on Saturday, January 28th.
The first out of town gig is in Memphis, TN on Sunday, January 15th. We’re spinning with Memphis-based DJ Buck Wilders at the world famous Poplar Lounge, which has set the stage for videos by the likes of ZZ Top as well as scenes from the 2005 Academy Award winning film Hustle & Flow. Things pick back up on Friday, January 20th when we spin with Stewart Anderson and friends at the long-running Houston, TX soul/mod night, A Fistfull of Soul at the Big Top Lounge. Saturday, January 21st we’ll be in Austin, TX guest DJ’ing with residents B. Sears & Coolhands at The New Day party, which takes place at The Highball Lounge. Then on Sunday, January 22nd we’ll be spinning at The Saint Bar & Lounge in New Orleans before we start heading back to Pittsburgh where we officially commence Soul Travelin’ on Saturday, January 28th at the Shadow Lounge. We anticipate having grits and BBQ coming out of our ears and lots of new records in our boxes from our travels.
