ABOUT THE SHOW

Rendering Home is a dance piece that showcases personal perspectives of home and the varying stories that inevitably follow; both the stories of displacement and uncertainty as well as those of hope and restoration.

Situated around numerous memories and experiences, a cast of five dancers piece together their stories of home in vignettes, partnerships, and solos as they move through the evening with themes of order, chaos, displacement, uncertainty, balance, burden, and belonging.

PRE-SHOW GALLERY RECEPTION

Rendering Home will feature a gallery-type reception on both nights at 7:30pm prior to the performance. Accompanied by the photography and visual art of Pittsburgh-based artists Richard Frost and Emily V Koch, please join us as we identify with home and its deep significance in our lives. Ticket price includes one drink ticket during the pre-show reception.
