Greensburg, PA- October 19, 2018 – Local Bridgeville artist Steph Moraca was awarded 2nd place for her oil painting “Pittsburgh in Bloom” at the Pitt-Greensburg Art Show.
Ms. Moraca specializes in contemporary realism landscape paintings, capturing the beauty of local scenes from Pittsburgh, golf courses, and natural lands. One hundred nineteen pieces by local artists were submitted for this event, and the top three fan-favorite pieces were recognized on October 19th.
“This award means a lot to me. I prepared this painting specifically to include it in the show, so I’m glad the public enjoyed this piece and understood the dedication that went into creating it.” Ms. Moraca’s future plans include participating in additional local art shows, selling her artwork at festivals, and live painting at various corporate events and fundraisers in 2019.
