Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh Launches ‘Be Well Pittsburgh’ initiative bringing Yoga and Wellness to the Parks all year

The Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh launches ‘Be Well Pittsburgh’ which will feature outdoor yoga, mindfulness, and meditation classes all spring and summer long starting April 28th at 10:30am.

This series offers starting your weekend with wellness and spotlights wellness gurus who will be offering opportunities for the whole community to come out and enjoy yoga classes and more. This will be held in Allegheny Commons Park near the intersection of Ridge Ave and Brighton Rd, in The North Side of the City. All of the wellness classes are free to the community and sponsored by the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh.

Stephanie Wijkstrom, MS, LPC, NCC Founder of The Counseling and Wellness Center has stated that ‘We love this city and we want to see many more opportunities for people to get outdoors and enjoy being healthy in Pittsburgh’s many City Parks, enhancing health and providing wellness is what we do for the individuals, couples, and families in Western Pennsylvania.’
