Pitcher Park Memorial Skatepark and the Borough of Carnegie, PA are honored to have been chosen as the hosts of this unprecedented skateboarding event, “The Stay Flared Tour”  sponsored by two competing American shoe companies Lakai Ltd and Emerica.  This star studded event boasts 23 professional skaters forming the heaviest of rosters ever hitting the road in the history of skateboarding.

The Lakai Team:  Riley Hawk (Tony Hawk’s son), Sebo Walker, Jon Sciano, Rick Howard, Jesus Fernandez, Nick Jenson, Daniel Espinoza, Stevie Perez, Raven Tersky, Vincent Alvarez, Brandon Biebel, Guy Mariano, Marc Johnson and Mike

The Emerica Team: Andrew Reynolds, Brandon Westgate, Bryan Herman, Collin Provost, Ed Templeton, Jeremy Lebres, Jerry Hsu, Justin Figueroa, Kevin Long and Leo Romero.

Pitcher Memorial Skatepark has now put Pittsburgh, PA on the professional skateboarding map with this tour only visiting the select cities of LA, DC. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Milwaukee, Des Moines and Denver.  The largest skateboarding magazine in the world, Thrasher Magazine is the media sponsor and will be touring and filming this event in every city.

Although this pairing of pro-skating teams will be a once in a life time spectacle, the teams state that it will be a relaxed demo and could turn into locals skating with the pros as well.  The sight of these two extremely talented teams performing together in the City of Pittsburgh, is something that all local skaters and spectators will remember forever.

Interviews with these pro-skaters can be arranged before the tour arrives by contacting the tour manager. Media should arrive early for photo opportunities with the teams or on site interviews.
