Highmark Stadium; Now a Concert Venue

Highmark Stadium is pleased to announce, that it is opening its doors as a premier outdoor concert venue in the heart of the city.  Highmark Stadium, on the shore at Station Square, will host an inaugural concert series starting this summer.

The stadium will continue to be home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, under the leadership of Owner Tuffy Shallenberger and President Richard Nightingale.  When the stadium is functioning as a concert venue or hosting a special event, it is through a partnership with long time concert promoter Rich Engler and his company, Rich Engler Presents.  Adding concerts and events to the facility will broaden the stadium use and enhance the entertainment options for Greater Pittsburgh residents and visitors.

The stadium when operating as a concert setting offers seating flexibility.  Highmark Stadium boasts a flexible concert layout; the main stage will be strategically placed to cater to the artist, ticket sales and best possible fan experience.  Additionally, Highmark Stadium offers a full service pub and is home to one of the most beautiful views of the city skyline.   A full concert series is being schedule now and the venue is expected to host a number of special events.

Concert tickets will vary in cost per artist.  There will be a range of cost levels from pre-sale, general admission and VIP tickets.  Special events will also have a range of ticket prices.

Highmark Stadium is currently seeking long-term sponsorship partnerships for the Riverhounds, concerts and special events.
