Style Week Pittsburgh™ Partners with Strong Women Strong Girls for 2014 Style Week
(Pittsburgh, PA – May 23, 2014) – Lights, Camera, Style! Style Week Pittsburgh™, an annual celebratory week of high-end fashion, glamour, and style is quickly gaining the local, national, and international attention of the fashion world. The mission of Style Week Pittsburgh is to springboard local fashion gems onto the world stage of high fashion. The highly anticipated week is shaping up to include a lineup of specially curated events, including two upscale Fashion Shows, an Accessory Showcase, a Jewelry Showcase, the Style Awards, a Boutique Crawl, and a Sunday Brunch.
The event Founder and Coordinator, Wadria Taylor of Style & Steel Event Planning, is pleased to announce the most recent Style Week partnership with Strong Women, Strong Girls. “Five percent of the net proceeds raised from Style Week Pittsburgh™2014 will be dedicated to Strong Women, Strong Girls. We are very happy that SWSG is becoming a part of this prestigious event and that we are able to raise awareness about the incredible work that they are doing to empower women and girls” said Ms. Taylor.
“Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) is a nationally recognized multi-generational mentoring program. SWSG fosters leadership skills, a sense of female community, and a commitment to service among three generations: elementary-school girls, undergraduate women, and professional women.
