AltarTV launches a brand new “Test Shoot” series from their newly-renovated space undearneath their offices in the North Shore.
Over the past few months, AltarTV has been renovating the otherwise useless space underneath their offices into a cool little studio. Over the past few weeks, they’ve been inviting local and touring bands to come by and break it in with a performance. ATV started with amps and christmas lights, then added a PA and original dressing, and have been modifying the setup piece-by-piece ever since. So it’s been called an ongoing experiment.
So far, there have been performances from Big Eyes, Patrick Joseph, and I The Mighty. Next week, ATV will premiering a new video from The Front Bottoms.
AltarTV shoots music performance videos, sparse unplugged session, off-kilter interviews and short-form documentary style features. In the past year, we’ve worked with bands like Imagine Dragons, Anti-Flag, Now Now, Snoop Dogg, Coheed and Cambria, AWOLNATION and Twenty One Pilots, as well as festivals like SXSW, Bunbury and Firefly.
