The world is watching as models Pop-Up in Pittsburgh
(Pittsburgh, PA)—Style Week Pittsburgh (SWP) is only one month away and to celebrate, on Tuesday, July 9th, event presenters and partners have announced a citywide Pop-up Photo Shoot to take place at some of Pittsburgh’s most historic landmarks.
“We wanted a show-stopper that gives people the chance to be part of the magic that happens during a photo shoot and on the runway and gets them excited about Style Week coming to Pittsburgh,” says, Wadria Taylor (SWP’s Event Director).
Fashion Photographer, Michael Edwards will shoot models in motion at three prominent landmarks during midday. “With over 30 years experience in Fashion, photography and marketing, I’m very excited to be working with Wadria Taylor and Style & Steel to produce the first Style Week Pittsburgh,” says Michael.
Styled by local stylist Matthew Taylor and Lakisha Patton of Focus Fashion, models will be adorned with wares from Pittsburgh’s only mobile boutique Broke Little Rich Girl and; makeup artist Lyndsie Hinch will have them all looking flawless.
Presented by Style & Steel, SWP debuts in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, August 7th-Sunday, August 11th with five days of fashion focused events. The goal of the event is to provide Pittsburgh a springboard into the national and international circle of high fashion as well as provide five star celebration of beauty in some of the city’s premier venues.
The Pop Up Photo Shoot will take place between 11am and 1pm. Specific locations include Market Square, Smithfield Bridge, and the MACY’s clock at 5th and Smithfield St.
