Pittsburgh to Host 1st Style Week in August
(Pittsburgh, PA)–Summer in Pittsburgh just got hotter because Style Week is coming to town! Style & Steel is excited to announce the launch of Style Week Pittsburgh from Wednesday,
August 7th-Sunday, August 11th. The mission of Style Week Pittsburgh is to create a platform for trailblazing and trendsetting fashion gems in the region to showcase their brands.
Stylistas, fashionistas, and socialites will enjoy a stellar 5 -day lineup of fabulous-fashion-focused events including a Champagne Cocktail Launch, a mega Fashion Show to benefit Gwen’s Girls, and a Citywide Boutique Crawl. Guests will not want to miss a day!
“Pittsburgh is on the rise and fashion plays a pivotal role in advancing its potential. We need more events and platforms that offer fashion retailers, designers, and related brands opportunities to connect and showcase what they have to offer. That is what Style Week Pittsburgh is all about,” said Wadria Taylor (Style Week Pittsburgh’s Director).
Here is what’s in store for Style Week Pittsburgh:
Wednesday, August 7th, 6p-10pm: Style Week Pittsburgh Champagne Launch at Perlé, Admission: $15 General Admission, $25 VIP, 21+ Style Week will kick off with a Red Carpet Champagne Cocktail Launch Party at one of the City’s most sophisticated nightlife destinations. Socialites, local celebrities, and stylistas attending this celebratory event will enjoy champagne cocktails, a Fashion and Jewelry Showcase, and preview what’s ahead during this mega week. VIPs receive a complimentary cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, reserved seating, and a ‘Glam Bag’ filled with product samples, gift cards, and more.
Thursday, August 8th, 6pm-9pm: Superwomen in Heels STYLE AWARDS at The Pittsburgh Winery, Admission: $35, 21+ Some of the City’s most extraordinary and stylish Superwomen in fashion and the arts will convene at The Pittsburgh Winery for an unforgettable night of fabulous shoes, a presentation of Style Awards, wine, and entertainment. RSVP is required.
Friday, August 9th, 6pm-9pm: DECADES: A Fashion Show Retrospective benefiting Gwen’s Girls, Admission: $10, $20 VIP, 21+ Lights! Cameras! Fashion! DECADES will chronicle the fashions of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. Top models will be sporting amazing designs for both men and women from boutiques, designers, and retailers in a series of fashion shows. In addition to fashion shows, ‘Styling Stations’ will offer guests services such as manicures, eyelash extensions, styling demonstrations, and more. A portion of event proceeds will benefit Gwen’s Girls. Guests are encouraged to dress in fashions from their favorite era.
Saturday, August 10th, Various Times: Citywide Boutique Crawl, Free and Open to the Public Local boutiques throughout the City will offer shoppers exclusive special promotions, trunk shows, and more.
Sunday, August 11th: Beauty Boot Camp at LaLa’s Salon. Admission is $25 After such a full week; some relaxation and rejuvenation will be in order! Beauty Boot Camp will close Style Week with pampering massages, facials, makeovers, styling demonstrations, and more.

Tickets to Style Week Pittsburgh’s events can be purchased separately, however guests are encouraged to purchase a STYLE PASS to access all 5-days of events and save!
A VIP Style Pass gives guests FULL ACCESS to Style Week events and star treatment. VIPs also receive complimentary cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, reserved seating, and a Glam Bag. $125.00|
A Full Access Style Pass gives guests access to all of Style Week’s events and a $20 discount. |$70|
