Art All Night Lawrenceville Celebrates its 16th Year

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – PITTSBURGH, PA (MARCH 15, 2013) – The 16th installment of “Art All Night: Lawrenceville” will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 until 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013. Art All Night is an uncensored, non-juried art show occurring once a year in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The 16th annual Art All Night will feature original artwork, activities for children and adults, on-site art collaborations, an art auction and live entertainment. Art All Night is free and open to the public. The event draws over 12,000 visitors and 1,200 participating artists.

On-site activities will include chalk art, post card creation, still-life drawing stations and more. Throughout the night, guests will have the chance to witness art being created live. Collaborative Painting pairs up volunteer artists to create art throughout the evening as part of a live performance. Returning to Art All Night this year is Cartooning All Night, with cartoonists participating in a group collaborative process. Cartoonists produce their own work based on a storyline or idea, with the goal of compiling a book for distribution. All the proceeds from the evening directly support Art All Night.
