“Chicago” The Musical Set To Sizzle At Kean Theatre

“CHICAGO” THE MUSICAL SET TO SIZZLE AT KEAN THEATRE

Kander and Ebb’s razzle and dazzle slated for July 13-22

GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), June 27, 2012 –The Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a season of popular concerts, hilarious interactive dinner theatre shows and award-winning plays and show-stopping musicals including “Chicago” which will be staged in July. Show time is 8 p.m. July 13, 14, 20 and 21.  Cost is $35.  The Kean Theatre is now inviting theatre goers to enjoy a delicious dinner on-site in the elegant Mount Vernon Restaurant before each show at 6:30 p.m.; cost for dinner and the show is $57.  Sunday matinees will be staged at 2 p.m. July 15 and 22.  Cost is $33.  An optional luncheon will take place at the Kean Theatre’s Mount Vernon Restaurant at 12:30 p.m.; cost for lunch and the show is $55. In the Kean Theatre production Marlaina Guido of Cranberry Twp. is cast as leading lady Roxie Hart and Whitney Ann Jenkins of Butler plays Velma Kelly. Stefan Lingenfelter of Butler is playing Billy Flynn andLacreita Crawford of Butler is playing Mary Sunshine. Matron Mama Morton is played by Debra Humphrey of Houston, Pa. Bob Miller of Shaler is playing Amos Hart andMike Regan of Hampton Twp. is the Bandleader.Playing the “Cell Block Girls” are Katie Colosimo of Wexford as Liz, Megan Flannery of Butler as Annie, Shannon McCarren of Butler as Mona, Jennifer Rausch of Wexford as June and Meagan Reagle of Pittsburghas Hunyak. The Ensemble includes Gretchen Breslawski of Butler, Greg Crawford of Butler,Daniel Deluca of Carnegie, Tessa Flannery of Butler, Drew Gaworski of Cranberry Twp., Deena Hower of Pittsburgh, Evan Oslund of Oakmont andLaura Wagner of Hampton Twp.“Chicago” is directed and produced by Tom Madden, managing and artistic director of the Kean Theatre.
