FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – PITTSBURGH, PA (May 30, 2012) – Celebrate the release of the ultimate Pittsburgh zombie novel Working Stiffs by Lucy Leitner at a corporate function with zombies. Recently released by Necro Publications, the South Side-set Working Stiffs is a hilarious, action-packed tale of survival in the fast-paced world of pharmaceuticals.
Something has gone horribly wrong in the Pro-Well Pharmaceuticals factory, and ex-meth dealer Marshall Owens, the company’s owner and drug genius, must keep the surrounding Pittsburgh area from finding out. Unfortunately, the undead assembly line workers have other plans.
Of course, that hasn’t happened yet. On June 9th at 7 PM, the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern will host the fictional company’s summer office party.
The party will feature morale boosters in the form of performances by Del Rios and performance artist Lita D’Vargas. Like any corporate function, teambuilding activities will be an integral part of the event, and will include a zombie trivia contest with prizes. A guest speaker will also make a presentation about how to most effectively use office supplies to kill zombies.
Cover is $5 after 9 PM, and $3 for those dressed as zombies. Copies of Working Stiffs will be available for $15 and the author will be signing copies.
Beat the deadly 9-5 grind at a wonderfully unique book launch party. With zombies.
