PITTSBURGH, PA…. I Made It! Market, the city’s nomadic indie craft marketplace, will pop into the SouthSide Works on Saturday, February 4th from 12 – 5 pm with more than 55 regional artisans offering handmade wares for Valentine’s Day. Crafted with heart, each item is created by the onsite artists displaying at this show. Shoppers will also enjoy free crafts for kids provided by the SouthSide Works. Garage parking is free for the first hour and tops at $3.
The I Made It! Market creates events with a two-fold mission in mind. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for non-profit, arts, and community groups AND to provide the opportunity for regional craftspeople to establish small businesses. At this event, shoppers will find community arts and non-profit organizations offering activities and craft demonstrations as they raise awareness and funds for their missions. Activities will be appropriate for children.
Visitors to the I Made It! Mine will find a variety of handcrafted goods made especially for Valentine’s Day including natural bath and body products, greeting cards, clothing, costumes, letterpress artwork, house wares, woodwork, handbags, jewelry, ceramics, children’s items and so much more. Descriptions of participating artists can be found leading up to the event on the I Made It! Market website: www.imadeitmarket.com.
