DAN IS A SENSITIVE ARTIST

Pittsburgh, PA Nov. 14, 2011 – A Retrospective of the Art of Dan Stout at the GLCC

The Gay and Lesbian Community Center presents “A Sensitive Artist, the Work of Dan Stout”.

Dan’s work deals with icons and strong patterns in his ever- evolving series. Using a variety of mediums including found objects, reclaimed wood, and multiple pigment delivery systems; the process is often formed using transposed images, freehand techniques and layering.

Dan is based in Pittsburgh and has shown work throughout Lawrenceville and Downtown as part of the “We Need More Collective”. Most notably, you may have seen his work at the Blue Moon Cafe.

The opening is Sunday December 4th 6-9pm. Free and open to the public. Catering provided by Chef Jeff: Catering & Fine Pastries. The show will continue to Jan 27.
