Pittsburgh, PA — October 2011 – One-night sales and printed-on-demand tees are both on tap at TeeRex’s Penn Ave. studio for the November Reblurred night, along with a special appearance by the Craft-O-Tron and several of its artists!
Last month’s while-you-wait tees were a big hit and we’re doing it again, with 12 new designs to choose from. For just $5 attendees can choose a design, a blank tee and we’ll press it right then and there. Bring your own cotton tee and each design is just $2!
Featured guests for the night include: Paper artists from Ready Go Paper Studio, Erra Creations’ bike chain bracelets, Night Squid Studios’ decorative bottle cap pins, and jewelry from Bel Monili by l.marlane. Sweet treats from the Goodie Truck and dinner dogs from the Franktuary will fill your belly while some East End Brewing ale tops it off.
We’re continuing our partnership as a drop-off location with the Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project so don’t forget to bring in your totes to donate! Each person that donates can enter for a chance to win a tee of their choice. The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project collects new and gently used tote bags to distribute to food pantries in the community. Tote bags reduce reliance on disposable bags (helping the environment) and increase the food pantry client’s ability to transport large, bulky or heavy items home to their families. For more information, visit www.tote4pgh.org The project is an official partner with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
TeeRex hand prints quality apparel with original designs created by a devoted staff of local designers. The TeeRex items found in the storefront are unique, experimental one-offs that can’t be found in their online store, the Cotton Factory. Based in Pittsburgh, PA TeeRex often partners with local groups such as the Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project, Hello Bully, Bike Pittsburgh and more. TeeRex’s studio is located at 5440 Penn Ave.
