Pittsburgh, Pa – Time is winding down to Chris Higbee’s concert at the Stage AE in Pittsburgh’s North Shore, October 14, 2011. Chris Higbee, founder of the country music band formerly know as Poverty Neck Hillbillies, has had a very busy summer and has been found performing on stages in Ohio, West Virginia and everywhere in between. Rooftops have not been off limits at these live performances, as Chris is called “Fiddler on the Roof” amongst his endearing fans. Chris Higbee’s Live and energetic performance will without question turn Stage AE into a real live “Higbeeland,” as his loyal fans come from Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia to witness the live performance as Chris headlines his own show at Pittsburgh’s newest concert venue. Chris Higbee has recently announced that Abacus Jones, will be opening for Chris Higbee on October 14, 2011. Chris Higbee founded the Poverty Neck Hillbillies (PNH) in 2000, and delivered radically distinctive and energetic concerts across the country, performing wherever and whenever possible. After the disbandment of PNH Chris decided to take his career into his own hands. Pursuing a solo career, Chris débuted his self titled album recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, co-writing five tracks on the album with Brett James, Ashley Gorley, Wade Kirby and Paul Overstreet.
Chris is now performing as a solo artist and currently promoting the self titled album “Chris Higbee” with singles such as, “Write to Me,” a song written to his wife who served overseas in Iraq, and was deployed immediately after exchanging wedding vows. Delivering an exciting and energetic performance, Chris Higbee is guaranteed to get you moving.
