Goodbye, Squirrel Hill

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 29, 2018 – Pittsburgh, PA — Color Me Mine, the pioneer of the paint your own pottery industry, is relocating after 20 years of business on Forbes Ave.

“Everyone is so sad to see us go.  We grew up together.  Tons of children experienced their very first brush stroke with us. Newborns, got their tiny feet and toes painted for their very first foot print. (Well, second after being born in the hospital.)  Elementary school kids that painted with us so many years ago are now bringing their own children in to paint.  We will miss Squirrel Hill and all it has to offer.  We’ve gone through so much together these past 20 years, but we’re super excited to say HELLO to all the new neighbors in East Liberty.”

Their new address is 5971 Broad St. Pittsburgh, PA 15206. The front of the store is all window and saturated with sparkling natural sunlight, a rustic court yard and beautiful flowering trees.  They’re rebranding their interior decor with hues of blues and accents of bright colors.

“The new space is like a breath of fresh air.  The street is quiet without any traffic passing by.   We feel a lot safer having the little kiddos running around.”

For our adults, they’re planning some outdoor events that will include food trucks and musicians. They’ll have tables, chairs and umbrellas out so customers can add the outdoors to their creative experience.

Color Me Mine is moving this week and will be open for business in their new studio this February, 2018.   If you need to contact them you can reach them at 412-421-2909.
