For Immediate Release – Pittsburgh, PA – Nearly 450 families in Western Pennsylvania are affected by bleeding disorders. Although improvements in care and advancements in therapies are allowing people with hemophilia, Von Willebrand Disease, and other serious bleeding disorders to live better, fuller lives, there is still more work to be done.
