Sto-Rox Nonprofit Aims for Record Support During Pittsburgh Gives

For Immediate Release – On Thursday, October 3, 2013, Focus On Renewal (FOR) is participating in Pittsburgh Gives, a resource of The Pittsburgh Foundation. Donations of $25 or more made that day to FOR through the Pittsburgh Gives website (www.pittsburghgives.org) will have a portion of the gift matched.

To be eligible for the match, donations must be made through that website with a MasterCard or Visa credit card during the 24 hours of October 3, 2013.

The DONATE NOW button at pittsburghgives.org will appear on October 3, 2013 from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. ET.

Last year, Focus On Renewal raised more than $10,000 from 90 individuals through the Day of Giving. The agency’s goal this year is $15,000. Donations will help support all of FOR’s important programs, including the food pantry, community center, library, early childhood and the arts.
