IUP Graduate Studies Madness Tournament Gets Into Full Swing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Indiana, PA – March 28, 2013 – The Indiana University of Pennsylvania School of Graduate Studies and Research is currently holding a Facebook contest titled “IUP Graduate Studies Madness,” a March Madness-inspired tournament.

During this contest, the school’s 48 graduate programs are pinned against each other for six rounds of bracket-style competition. Students enrolled in the graduate programs are able to vote for their program on the IUP Graduate Studies’ Facebook page once a day. When the contest ends, each student enrolled in the winning program will receive prizes from Dunkin’ Donuts and the title of “IUP Graduate Studies Madness Champion.”

The voting round dates include:

  • Round 1: March 19-22
  • Round 2: March 23-26
  • Round 3: March 27-29
  • Round 4: March 30-April 1
  • Round 5: April 2-4
  • Round 6: April 5-8

Voting ends at 10:00 p.m. on the last day of each round, and resumes at 10:00 a.m. the following day, when the next round begins. Voting for the final round ends on April 8th at midnight, and the winning program will be announced at 10:00 a.m. April 9th.
