The University School Joins National Million T-Shirt March Against Bullying

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Pittsburgh, PA – March 14, 2013

The University School (TUS) is taking part in the nation’s largest and most ambitious anti-bullying rally ever attempted, The Million T-Shirt March Against Bullying. We hope to be a part of more than a million people nationwide on May 2, 2013 all wearing the same anti-bullying shirt. This is also an attempt to set a Guinness World Record of “the most people wearing the same shirt on the same day.”

Community support in the fight against bullying is vital and would be greatly appreciated by the staff and students of TUS who are committed to safe environments conducive to learning. TUS students will be visiting businesses in Shadyside to ask that on May 2nd, that their employees proudly wear one of the shirts created by The Million T-Shirt March in support of this effort.

More information about The Million T-Shirt March can be found online at themilliontshirtmarch.org/ or on Facebook.
