Free Health Screenings and Health Seminar Feb. 13

For Immediate Release – The Center for Pharmacy Services of Duquesne University will present a discussion titled “Take Control of Your Health – Know Your Numbers” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. Representatives will discuss the importance of knowing your personal health numbers of total cholesterol, triglycerides, body mass index, good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, and blood sugar. Following the presentation, free health screenings will be offered to check cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure levels.

Duquesne University Center for Pharmacy Services’ presentation is part of St. Barnabas Medical Center’s monthly Doc’s Talk series, in which health care representatives share information with St. Barnabas residents and the public. Reservations are not necessary.
