PASAE ANNOUNCES BOARD ELECTIONS
HARRISBURG, PA (Dec. 7, 2012) – The Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives (PASAE) membership recently elected its 2013 Board of Directors and Officers at its annual business meeting in Harrisburg.
Rob Fulton, President, PA Association of Travel and Tourism, will serve as PASAE Chair. Jeff Heishman, Deputy Executive Vice President of the PA State Association of Boroughs, was elected PASAE Vice-Chair. Heather Sharar, Executive Director of the Ambulance Association of PA, will serve as PASAE Secretary/Treasurer. Fulton succeeds Debra S. Tingley, APR, Director of Communications, County Commissioners Association of PA, who will continue to serve on the board as Immediate Past-Chair.
“I’m honored to have been elected by my peers to serve as Chair of PASAE,” said Fulton. “In the current economic environment, associations have some interesting challenges. PASAE will continue to serve as a leader and a resource for associations to help its members achieve excellence on behalf of the thousands of Pennsylvanian’s served by associations. Associations are a very important part of Pennsylvania’s workforce.”
Elected to serve on the PASAE Board are: Jennifer Casey, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Builders Association; Crystal Lowe, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging; Pam Polacek, Esq., McNees, Wallace & Nurick; Rhonda Rumbaugh, CAE, Assistant VP Education & Professional Development, Pennsylvania Credit Union Association; David Sanko, Executive Director, Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors; and Abigail Young, Director of Meetings & Membership, Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.
Continuing to serve as PASAE Board Directors are: Donna Centofanti, CHME, Director of Sales & Marketing, Holiday Inn Harrisburg Hershey; David Garrett, CEO, Eastern Building Material Dealers Association; David Jackson, CMP, Director of Sales, Pocono Mountains Convention & Visitors Bureau; and Janice Reisinger, Director of Association Management Services, Pennsylvania Medical Society, were all honored for their service.
