Certified Laugh Leader to Discuss How Laughter Heals

GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), Sept. 24, 2012 – Julie Ann Sullivan, certified Laugh Leader, will lead a discussion on Laugh Therapy titled “Try Laugh Therapy” at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road.

With her great energy and unique interactive style, Sullivan will share the benefits of laughter and ways to incorporate laughter into everyday life.  Sullivan will reveal how laughter can:

  • Relieve stress
  • Strengthen the immune system
  • Increase attentiveness
  • Improve moods

Sullivan’s presentation is part of St. Barnabas Medical Center’s monthly Doc’s Talk series, in which health care representatives share information with St. Barnabas residents and the public.
