St. Barnabas to Host Two Doc’s Talk Seminars in August

St. Barnabas’ Doc’s Talk series is free and open to the community

GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), July 27, 2012 – Dr. Coleen Carignan, Director of General Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center, will present a discussion titled “How Understanding Cholesterol Can Improve Your Health” at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 9 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road, Gibsonia.  Dr. Carignan will discuss the difference between good and bad cholesterol, good fats versus bad fats and diet tips.

Dr. Eric Kern, Director of Dental Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center, will talk about “How to Prevent Gum Disease” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 22 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road. Dr. Kern’s talk will cover signs, causes, dangers and prevention of gum disease.
