GROVE CITY, Pa. – July 10, 2012 – Olde Town Grove City’s Downtown Summer Sounds concert series is off to a fantastic start this year. On July 5th the series launched with the Don Burns Big Band and Orchestra who performed a compilations of classic big band and swing tunes. “It was a great night of music,” said local resident and Summer Sounds volunteer Bianca Silva, “the band was lively, and people couldn’t help but get up and dance! I can’t wait for the rest of the concerts here in Olde Town!”
The upcoming concerts will feature a variety of musical performances from local and regional artists. Opening artist begin at 7:00 PM with the featured performers beginning at 7:30PM. The series, which runs Thursdays through August 2nd, will feature Righteous Fingers of Harmony and Junction PA on July 12th , Remora Deign and Vincent Anastasi on July 19th, Julia Anderson and Jamie Harris’ Shadow of the King Elvis Tribute on July 26th, and finally Jasmine Tate and Well Strung on August 2nd Visit oldetowngrovecity.com for more information or call 724-458-0301.
