FREE SEMINAR ON HEART HEALTH: St. Barnabas’ Registered Dietitian to Speak at Doc’s Talk program set for May 23
GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), May 14, 2012 – Amanda Borland, Registered Dietitian at St. Barnabas Nursing Home and Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas, will lead a discussion titled “How to be Heart Healthy” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850
Meridian Road.Borland will discuss:
- How foods affect the heart
- Choosing heart smart foods
- Tips for healthy cooking
Borland’s presentation is part of St. Barnabas Medical Center’s monthly Doc’s Talk series, in which health care representatives share information with St. Barnabas residents and the public.
