PITTSBURGH – Today at 1:00, City Councilman William Peduto will convene a hearing at City Council on the pending funding crisis for public transit in Allegheny County. The hearing will be attended by County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Port Authority Executive Director Steve Bland, Amalgamated Transit Union #85 President Patrick McMahon, State Representative Dan Frankel, Executive Director of ACCESS Karen Hoesch, as well as citizen advocates. The invited guests will focus on the details of the pending financial crisis and potential solutions.
