This year’s event will be even bigger and better and will feature Fashion Shows of local designers and boutiques; a Silent Auction; Vendors; Music by DJ Selecta and more! Guests will be treated to complimentary Gift Bags and Hors D’ouevres while sipping Glamtinis (the event’s signature drink). In addition, guests will be able to register for Pittsburgh’s Race for the Cure on May 13th, 2012. Half of all event proceeds will be donated to the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
When asked why Style & Steel created this event, the company’s Founder and CEO, Wadria Taylor, said that, “Breast Cancer has affected one too many women in my family. I wanted to plan an event that would not only raise money but would also honor and celebrate survivors of Breast Cancer; and educate women about their breast health and the importance of getting screened.”
