FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – PITTSBURGH – On Monday, April 23, 2012, Councilman William Peduto will join volunteers across the country in delivering books for World Book Night. From Kodiak, Alaska, to Key West, Florida, in 5,000 towns and cities across America, volunteers will give away half a million free books. At 1:30 PM, Councilman Peduto will be joined by students from the Neighborhood Academy in delivering books to Vintage Senior Services in East Liberty.
