PhasionLab Brings Red Carpet Glamor to Pittsburgh RAINN Fundraiser

Pittsburgh, PA – March 24th, 2012 – Pittsburgh fashion consulting company PhasionLab will be hosting a red carpet event in support of The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) from 7-10pm on Saturday, March 31st at The Society for Contemporary Crafts in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. The fundraiser will feature live entertainment, including a runway show by and a live sculpture-in-progress by local salvage artist David Calfo.

“RAINN is an amazing organization and I’m happy to do anything I can to support them,” says PhasionLab CEO Takiya Lance. “We’ve already had several local celebrities RSVP to this event, so we’re hoping that we can raise enough money to keep RAINN’s campaign against sexual violence going strong for years to come.”

The event, which celebrates “The Beauty that Lives in Us All”, will also feature an open bar by Clique Vodka, appetizers by California Pizza Kitchen Catering and music by Elite Signature DJs. Tickets cost $50 and can be purchased at www.e4rainn2012.eventbrite.com and locally at 720 Music, Clothing & Café in Lawrenceville. All proceeds from the auction will benefit RAINN.

There will also be a silent auction — items up for grabs include an array of artwork from local and national artists and designers, a month of social media marketing – including page setup and customization – by The Content Factory, a spa package and an autographed picture of Hines Ward.

The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network is America’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. As part of its campaign to educate the public about sexual assault, RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE and leads national efforts to prevent sexual assault, improve services to victims, and ensure that rapist are brought to justice. You can visit the organization online at www.rainn.org

“I hope that every supporter of RAINN will join us in raising awareness of this incredibly worthwhile cause,” says Lance. “If we work together, we can help make the world a safer place for victims of sexual violence everywhere.”

With years of modeling, styling and sales experience under her belt, Takiya Lance has turned PhashionLab into one of the leading fashion-related service providers in the Pittsburgh area.
