Pittsburgh, PA., November 17, 2011 – Industry Weapon, recognized experts in digital media technology, recently offered a VIP content package prize worth $9,600 in their first-ever Extreme Content Makeover contest. Current Industry Weapon customer, Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., was announced the winner.
Jennifer Unterbrink, assistant director of student activities at Marist College, plans to make this a building year for content and material.
“We are all very excited. This is such a great opportunity for us to improve our content. We plan to work really closely with MCTV (the campus TV station) and could really use some help with using flash and videos,” said Unterbrink.
The prize is equivalent to 80 hours of digital media strategy, creation, scheduling and deployment from Industry Weapon’s digital media experts.
Christian Armstrong, who heads up Client Services at Industry Weapon, believes in the importance of listening to a customer’s challenges before moving ahead.
As industry experts in the field of content development and deployment, Industry Weapon will not only be providing the images, backgrounds, motion graphics and videos Marist College is looking for, but also the required strategy, project management and experience to ensure the project’s success.
It’s part of Armstrong’s job to understand the customer’s business, their target audience, and their unique needs regarding content. Once achieved, this understanding leads to a process of interpretation where it is decided exactly what will be done, when, where, and how.
“This gives us a better idea of what’s working, what isn’t, what we should use, and where, based on factors such as foot traffic, time of day, things like that,” says Armstrong.
“This prize is perfect for Marist College, especially since some departments and offices are using CommandCenterHD, the platform designed and developed by Industry Weapon, says Armstrong. “Basically, this platform provides a simple content management workflow from upload, to design, to scheduling – perfect for the College to ensure successful project deployment.”
