Faded Industry Entertainment Hosts 5th Annual Faded Fest

Local music showcase transformed East Carson Street to a multi-stage festival on September 10, 2011

Faded Fest is an enormous all-ages Pittsburgh showcase featuring over eighty local artists, bands, DJs, and designers. September 10th celebrated the festivals fifth anniversary, making it the largest to date. Because the festival has gained such momentum over the past five years, it was decided to expand to East Carson Street in the South Side of Pittsburgh for 2011’s edition. “We definitely felt it was time to take Faded Fest to the next level.  With all of the amazing live music venues, great restaurants, and unique shops in the South Side, it seemed like a no brainer to bring this all together to support the arts & entertainment scene in Pittsburgh.” – Frank Bachurski, President of Faded Industry Entertainment.

The decision to take on the South Side proved to be a great decision. Many local and national businesses signed on to support and get involved with the festival and offered special discounts for Faded Fest attendees, adding to the value of the $15.00 admission price.

Over 80 local acts performed throughout the day simultaneously at Diesel, District 3, Levelz, Rex Theater, The Smiling Moose, Villa, and Z Lounge.

The Official Faded Fest After-Party was held at District 3. The party kept going until 2:00 AM with all of the bands, musicians, and artists. It was a great time for all of the fans to meet and greet the local artists that made the whole day possible.

“We are just honored to have the support and culture to be able to coordinate this amazing event.  We couldn’t do it without all of the musicans and contributors that make Faded Fest what it has become, and we are extremely anxious to work with all of the talented musicians that emerge in the future.” – Frank Bachurski, President of Faded Industry Entertainment
