ProRider Police Motor Instructors Team Up to Take All Rider’s Skills to a New Level

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Instructional DVD that teaches Police Motorcycle Skills and Safety Training to civilian riders launches on Kickstarter

APRIL 26th 2017, PITTSBURGH, PA: Police Motor Instructors and Motorcycle Rodeo Competitors team up to create the ultimate instructional video. This DVD is designed to teach all motorcycle riders the Advanced Motor Officer Skills.

With the weather warming up and May being Motorcycle Awareness month, there isn’t a better time to open the discussion about a course that could save your life. This instructional video will allow motorcyclist to enhance their skill and safety by developing rock solid confidence and gaining ultimate control of their Motorcycle.

ProRider is expanding upon their 21 training locations nationwide and bringing their police style motorcycle training course into the households of motorcyclists through a unique instructional DVD.

ProRider launched their KickStarter crowdfunding campaign on April 9th 2017 and set its funding goal at $10,000 with a variety of unique and exciting rewards. They are currently 28% to their goal!

Currently employed as a full-time Police Motor Officer and Police Motorcycle Instructor, BJ McMullan and his team of instructor’s train and certify the police motor officers in the greater Pittsburgh region. They have also trained hundreds of civilian riders at his ProRider Pittsburgh location since opening in 2014. They compete yearly in motorcycle skill competitions (motorcycle rodeos) across the country and have brought home countless trophies.

After realizing the value gained by police officers who complete motor school, ProRider began looking at the advanced motorcycle training options available to civilians and were disappointed to learn that there weren’t many.

“The Motorcycle Safety Foundation does a great job of providing basic training to beginners and intermediate/refresher training to experienced riders. However, there was no training available that was comparable to the advanced skills taught in a police motorcycle course.” said BJ McMullan, CEO of ProRider Motorcycle Training, when asked what sets this apart from other motorcycle training courses.

“There is nothing secretive about these skills- nothing that is going to compromise officer safety if learned by the public. They simply aren’t incorporated into any civilian classes.” Said BJ McMullan.

This DVD is said to be challenging, fun, intuitive, and is expected to reach riders near and far who may not have access to ProRider classes, may be intimidated by a group setting or simply just want train at their own pace. ProRider instructors will be showcasing their riding skills throughout the riding season at motorcycle events in and around the Pittsburgh area.
